Background
Ancient Treasure is a skincare company, and they hired me as their social media manager. I was responsible for creating content for all social media channels and personal and Facebook pages for the company. Scheduling through Hootsuite, creating an email list from the subscribers and those who joined the FB groups, responding to comments on the social media channels, and general interaction.
Results
- Achieved a 35% increase in e-commerce sales in the first month.
- Instagram followers grew by 50%, reaching 5,000 engaged users.
- Website traffic doubled within 6 weeks.
What Made it Successful
- Collaborated with the CEO to strategize, post, and analyze all content for Ancient Treasure’s social channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook group and personal pages.
- Drafted all copy, selected media, and diversified posts to ensure content was aligned with all channels while meeting and exceeding KPIs/metrics (30% increase in followers, 150% increase in inquiries across all channels).
- Designed branded images and videos to accompany all social media posts.
- Managed 20-40 daily community inquiries (questions, requests, feedback) on social media channels.
- Created trend reports and piloted new types of content by continually learning and engaging across all social channels.
- Developed a marketing calendar to streamline social presence across the organisation.
